Node Deployment

Node 'Nike' deployed on Hwy 59S in Atlanta. This node streches the Mesh Cloud to cover Hall-Miller Field, the Atlanta Municipal Airport.


Strong signal now visible along Bessie Coleman Dr., and Indian Hills Country Club.

Reconfiguration

NETWI will 'desegment' the network over the course of the next few weeks. Nodes 'Nemesis' and 'Atlas' have been moved back to channel 1. Users will notice intermittent periods of network inavailability as the new settings and configuration are implemented. You will be able to monitor the progress of the 'desegmentation' at the NETWI System Status Page.

Lightning strike at AMH

At approximately 8:42PM, node 'THOR' located at Atlanata Memorial Hospital apparently took a lightning strike thru the telephone line interface. Node replaced with 'DEMETER'. Network is now back online.

Municipal WiFi OK in TX

SB21 Passed the Texas Legislature today with no ban on Municipal WiFi projects like NETWI.
